What is the Reading Education Foundation

The Reading Education Foundation is an independent non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization dedicated to expanding the educational experience of all Reading School District students. Our purpose is to support innovative opportunities that encourage our students to DREAM, BELIEVE and ACHIEVE through funding districtwide, school-based, and individual teacher grant requests. As we continue to fund grant requests annually, we also are committed to building an endowment that will support Reading School District students for years to come.

How We Generate Funds

The Reading Education Foundation seeks donations from private and public entities—from businesses, individuals, and other foundations. The Foundation also seeks government and private grant opportunities. Additionally, the Foundation holds three Fundraising events each year.
